Hunting with Rain Creek Ranch

TUpon arrival you will be checked into your accommodations and shown around camp to generally settle in and recover from your trip to the ranch with some refreshments, meet the staff and guides.

• Next the guides will accompany you to the gun range to ensure everything is dialed in and your hitting paper where you expect with your weapon. 
• Based on time and overall hunt agenda an evening site will be planned and the overall strategy to acquire your trophy will be established with you 1 on 1 guide
• After the evening hunt or recovery from the trip you will settle into dinner with the rest of the guests, meet everyone, and share a great meal with your guide discussing the plan and swapping hunting stories and learning more about the ranch while looking at the game camera inventory of the available animals at the ranch. This will help you and get guide sync in on the characteristics of the trophy you desire (sometimes seeing options changes your mind)
• After dinner relax in the house, your room, or on the porch overlooking the feed station below the house and get a feel for the animals on the ranch as they come in for their late dinner

• The morning you will awake at the predetermined time and meet your guide with a fresh cup of coffee and a quick snack
• Once prepared you will be guided to your stand on predetermined routes to keep the traffic on the ranch to a minimum. The less the animals sense a change the better the odds of a success that hunt
• After the morning hunt you will be accompanied back to camp for breakfast with the rest of the guests and share the morning experiences and discuss the plan for the afternoon and evening
• After a rest or scouting session in the afternoon or perhaps a quick sight seeing tour of a different part of the ranch to see some trophies you haven't seen a late lunch will be served 
• After lunch the guides will accompany you to your evening stand with ample time to get settled in before the wildlife is expected to arrive
• After the evening hunt you will be brought back to camp to cleanup and relax while dinner is prepared
• Dinner will be served in the house or enjoyed on the back porch with the rest of the guests where more relationships are built, stories are told, and legends are made
• After dinner relax in the house, your room, or on the porch overlooking the feed station below the house and get a feel for the animals on the ranch as they come in for their late dinner

• After the morning hunt you will be accompanied back to camp for breakfast with the rest of the guests and share the morning experiences 
• After breakfast you will be assisted as needed packing up as you prepare to leave the ranch with your trophy

• Upon hunting success you will have pictures taken at the recovery site so you can quickly brag to all those friends and family back home
• Your animal will be taken to the processing shed and properly field dressed and placed in the walk in cooler to ensure the meat and cape are cooled properly more photos as the bragging continues....
• Before your departure your animal will be caped to your needs and the animal will be quartered and processed into your cooler for proper meat care to be taken to your processor and taxidermist
• If you are successful early in your hunt you will work out an alternate plan to hunt the ample pig population to keep the excitement going and help reduce the numbers on the ranch at no extra charge any animals taken can also be broken down as meat or mounts as desired or disposed of for you 
• Alternatively if desired an additional trophy can be targeted with your guide and arrangements made for a double-up weekend.
